About the event

Welcome to Our Spring Herbal Elixir Retreat

Step into the heart of nature and immerse yourself in the healing power of spring herbs at our one-day retreat. Nestled among tall pines, a quiet forest, and our stunning spiral herbal garden near Gravenhurst, this event offers you a day of relaxation, learning, and connection to the earth.

Join us for a transformative experience where you'll discover the benefits of spring herbs, learn hands-on herbal crafting techniques, and enjoy nourishing food and peaceful activities.

What’s Included:

  • Tea Ceremony: Relax and unwind in a calming tea ceremony that features a selection of handpicked herbs. This mindful experience encourages deep relaxation and connection with nature while helping us start our day nice and relaxed.

  • Foraging Walk: Begin the day with a peaceful walk through our beautiful property and surrounding woods. Learn how to identify, harvest, and use local spring herbs to benefit your health and well-being.

  • Root Beer Tonic Workshop: Experience the magic of wildcrafted herbs as we guide you in creating an all-natural, delicious root beer tonic made from sarsaparilla root packed with supportive spring herbs to invigorate, energize, and cleanse the body.

  • Spring Herb Crafting Workshop: Tap into your creative side and craft herbal-infused creations. We will explore the use of several other spring herbs and craft them into simple and easy recipes that you can use to support yourself and your family in this seasonal transition time. The herbs we work with will be dependent on what is growing and ready for harvest at the time of the retreat.

  • Hot Stone Herbal Meditation: Conclude your day with a soothing hot stone herbal meditation. Let the warmth and gentle herbal essence guide you to a state of deep relaxation and inner peace. This is a beautiful 1-hour meditation completed while lying down, connecting with herbs, and relaxing under the warmth and heat of hot stones. It is the perfect way to carry your relaxation into the evening with you.
